Nissan has become the latest automaker to try and test out a subscription service model called Nissan Switch. They are launching the “on-demand driving” program in the Houston, Texas, area and are offering a variety of vehicle depending on the level of subscription you buy.

Nissan Switch will feature vehicles from the latest model year and contain well-equipped trim levels. Some of these trims include driver-assist technology that allows car shoppers to try out the latest innovative features in Nissan vehicles.

Nissan Wins Big in AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Nissan continues to be a driving force in the auto industry, taking home the most wins at the annual AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) for the third straight year.

Five of its models took best-in-class wins for 2019, more than any other brand. Most notably, the Nissan Murano won best Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV for the fifth time, while the ever-popular Nissan Maxima dominated the Luxury Mid-Size Car segment for its fourth win.

Nissan Foundation Awards Grants for Cultural Diversity

The dedication of Nissan to the community goes deeper than just meeting automotive-related needs, and it showed during the Nissan Foundation’s 2019 grant cycle. For 2019, the Nissan Foundation is awarding $740,000 grants to 30 non-profit organizations. The recipient organizations are spread across the states, including eight located in Tennessee.

The grants focus on non-profit organizations that encourage respect and understanding among various cultural and ethnic groups.
