As a responsible automobile owner, you are aware you need to perform regular maintenance on your vehicle in order to keep it in good working condition. Typically, you should be checking your fluids, engine oil, belts, hoses, wipers and lights. Examine the brake pads and check the condition and pressure of the tires.

The most important vehicle checks you should conduct are the on the oil and fluids, tire pressure and brake pads. Ideally, you should change the oil on the manufacturer's recommended schedule and check the brake pads before the vehicle begins to squeal when braking. Do not rely on visual checks for tire pressure, but instead use a pressure gauge for an accurate reading.
